The Northwoods tribe of the Radical Faeries of Kawashaway Sanctuary are looking to purchase land adjacent to our next-door neighbors at the Homestead. Here is a sampling of discussions around what we see as opportunities created by this action:
- Protecting our privacy, the neighborhood, and our sacred lake
- Building community by creating focus and lots of work and social opportunities
- Providing easier and improved Winter accessibility and a generally more accessible property & cabin
- Entertaining a refrigeration / ice possibility
- Availing ourselves of the current buyer's market

This is the first phase of our fundraising drive, which is intended to raise funds specifically for the purchase of the land next door. If for whatever reason the purchase does not materialize, we will notify the community and will apply funds raised towards greatly needed maintenance and general operating expenses of the Sanctuary land. Our monthly Community Circles and their notes are excellent ways to keep up-to-date with community budget details.
* "FCD" stands for "Faerie Camp Destiny", who have agreed to being our 501(c)3 fiscal pass-through for tax deductible contributions. They are doing this without cost to us in the spirit of spreading faerie magic throughout the world. It is part of their mission to sponsor and assist in the development of other faerie sanctuaries. If you know a Destiny sister, or are planning to visit, please let them know how very very grateful we are to them. Thanks FCD grrrls!! If you are not itemizing your deductions, or do not require a receipt for tax purposes, you can make your check out instead to "Kawashaway Sanctuary", and we will be able to directly accept your gift.

We can accept online payments through PayPal to securely and instantaneously receive credit card and electronic check transfer payments. We can accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. There is no charge for you to send money or (if you choose) to sign up for a PayPal account. Your credit and bank account numbers remain confidential to PayPal ~ we just get the dough.
You may optionally add in a processing fee. Figure 2.9% + 30¢ of your total, or intuit your own amount
