 In response to Katrina's displacement of many of our Gulf Coast faerie bruthusistuhs , the Stewards of Kawashaway have heart-fully agreed to match $600 in contributions. The money will go to Short Mountain Sanctuary, where many are seeking refuge. $1200 will pay for one month of their stay. This is an opportunity for folks to contribute goods rather than cash, and also to get some really faerielicious items. Hey, if we exceed our goal ~ all the better! Surely there is ample and immediate need for funds.

SMS is has 501c3 tax exempt status so your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. The deadline for the matching gift drive is Friday 30 September.
how  to bid Click on the "place bid" link to the left of each item to send an email with the subject line already filled out.

Please, to keep this organized, only one item and one bid per email.

Note ~ if you do not use a local email client, but instead send/receive your emails online, then, please send an email to White Ash with a subject line that reads, "GCFFA item #???", obviously replacing the ??? with the actual item number.
  • "high" is the current highest bid
  • "min" is the minimum bid necessary to start the bidding
  • "incr" is the minimum incremental bidding amount ~ feel free to bid more than this figure

I will have to rely on the time stamped on the emails that I receive and the order they come into my inbox, so waiting till the last nanosecond would not be the best approach. I will update more frequently that evening after I get home from Vera's.
