Greetings Family,

Here's a synopsis of the monthly Community Circle (held this month at Cassidy's Restaurant in historic Hinckley MN on Sunday April 17, 2011)

The Circle  began shortly after 3:15 as the three faes attending (Wet Dirt, Wolf and Snake) waited for enough steward attendees to establish quorum. We were hungry, and didn't see any other Faeries exiting the freeway, we decided to eat and dish.

The dish items/subjects that came up were May Day, Spirit Gathering, Heart/Fire Circle, How to get new Faes into the fold, and last but not least, a Veggie-Oil Bus.

First Item:  May Day. Sunday May 1. Schedule of events:  Park Set up:  No information (anyone up for it?), Breakfast (beginning at 9:00) and costume changes at Snake's, Block Hosting (from 10:30 a.m. until shortly after the parade moves through to the park - anyone and everyone), Park Table - 3 shifts...10:30 am - 12:30 pm, 12:15 pm - 2:30 pm and 2:15 pm - 4:30 pm, Park Tear Down: No Information (anyone up for it?).

Being the Radical Faeries we are, we dished about who would be bestest Park Hosts and here's what we came up with:  10:30 - 12:30:  Wet Dirt.  12:15 - 2:30: Sidthe and Scooter. 2:15 - 4:30: WhiteAsh and E!. Teardown: Miracle.  Feel free to change this order to whatever spirit moves you...add, delete, exorcise...it's all good.

Wet Dirt and Wolf have agreed that their garage can be used to store park items (not Minneapolis City Property) such as the tent that was usually used in Loring Park. However, no information has been gathered as to who has the tent, or who will bring it to either Wet Dirt and Wolf's, or bring it right to the park during Set Up.

Feel free to reply to this e-mail, letting the community know how you'd like to participate in this fabulous May Day event!!!!

Second Item:  Spirit Gathering is happening this year. Further details will be forthcoming from a Faerie who knows what they are talking about

Third Item:  Heart/Fire Circle  On the first Friday of May (May 6) Snake will host a fire and heart circle at his home at 8:00 p.m. (weather permitting). Snake said he will have the fire pit finished by that Friday, and everyone is welcome to attend to help break in the new fire pit. Details will be forthcoming, but it is known that drumming around a fire is good for the soul.

Fourth Item:  How do we get more Fae's into the fold?  All three attendees agreed that it was high time for the "Faerie in Charge of Things" to work on recruiting new Faeries to our fabulous fold. Discuss....

Fifth Item:  Vegie-Oil Bus.  One of the faes in attendance had a serious proposition to bring to the Tribe. Explore the possibility of purchasing a vegetable-oil based driving vehicle, preferably a bus.  The bus could be used to bring new Faes to the Land, delivering meals for charity, etc.  What does the community think?

Submitted in sincerity (with a small slap of leather),

Snake
