Articles of Incorporation

Article I
The name of this corporation shall be Kawashaway Sanctuary.

Article II
This corporation is formed as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of furthering faerie spirituality and community, pursuant to the meaning of Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(4).

Article III
This corporation does not afford pecuniary gain, incidentally or otherwise, to its members.

Article IV
The duration of this corporation shall be perpetual.

Article V
The address of the registered office of this corporation is 3937 11th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55407.

Article VI
The name and address of the Incorporator is William F. Pipkin, 2536 Garfield Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55405.

Article VII
The names and addresses of the initial board of directors of this corporation are:
James F. (Maude) Moldenhauer, 3612 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55407
Mark A. (Mildred) Morrill, 1807 Elliott Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55404
William F. Pipkin, 2536 Garfield Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55405 These persons shall serve as directors until their successors are duly elected by members of the corporation.

Article VIII
The members of this corporation shall not be personally liable for any obligation of this corporation.

Article IX
This corporation may not issue any shares of capital stock.

Article X
These articles of incorporation may not be amended except by unanimous consent of the board of directors or such percentage of this corporation as are specified in any by-laws adopted by the members.
